City Desktop Training is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre, located in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane, with over 21 years experience.
We offer Adobe courses and private training for print, web design and digital output using the following: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, HTML, Dreamweaver, Captivate, Flash & ActionScript, Premiere Pro, After Effects and also Search Engine Optimisation.
Classes are small and conducted by Adobe Certified Instructors using the latest software. We offer free repeat attendance for scheduled classes within 6 months and 12 months telephone support. Discounts available for mutliple bookings.
Our courseware has been designed to demonstrate the most efficient way to use your software, and includes lots of tips and tricks. Following are the various training options:
Adobe Essentials Courses – most $895
These courses are ideal for anyone who is about to start using a program, or those who are self taught and have been using the software for a short time. While these courses start at the beginning, they move quickly and in depth into the most important areas of the program.
Adobe Intermediate/ Advanced Courses – 1 day courses: $495, 2 day courses: $995.
Our intermediate/ advanced range of courses are suitable for people who have completed an Essentials course and want to learn more intricate details and advanced features of a program, or for people who have been using the software on a regular basis for a minimum of 6 to 12 months. A short prerequisite quiz must be completed before we can confirm bookings for these courses, to ensure that participants have similar levels of experience.
City Desktop Training recently opened their new training rooms which have been outfitted with the latest PCs, 22 inch flat screen monitors, new projectors and super comfortable chairs.
City Desktop has 4 trainers with specialist areas of design and layout, digital photography and web and animation. Most have been working with City Desktop for a minimum of 10 years and are Adobe Certified Instructors (ACI).
Classes are conducted at Level 5, 89 York Street, Sydney
(between King and Market Streets, and a few doors from the Grace Hotel).
