The Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) is the national association representing human resource and people management professionals in Australia. With a financial member and stakeholder base in the order of 25,000, AHRI assumes responsibility for shaping the future of the profession through our members.
AHRI provides research, advocacy and representation to promote the standing of HR professionals and engender human resource management best practice within workplaces. AHRI actively contributes towards setting standards and building the skill base of the profession, from entry-level practitioners to aspirants for strategic leadership.
Through its international affiliations and its close association with Australian industry and academia, AHRI ensures that its members are given access to a soundly-based professional recognition framework.
AHRI utilises a network of national training facilities to ensure a quality learning experience for all our workshop participants.

We recognise that adults bring to a training course their unique perspective and the paradigms they have built from their prior experience and learning. AHRI expert facilitators utilise a variety of instructional techniques aimed at maximising participant learning. Specifically our courses are premised on adult learning principles where involvement of participants is facilitated by: • identifying, valuing and building on what people bring from their experience • applying contemporary participation methodologies • varying presentation modes to accommodate different preferences for learning.
