• Calculate Net Present Value

Session 2 Risk analysis
• Analyse the weighted average cost of capital and adjust it using the CAPM
• Calculate best and worst case NPV scenarios
• Calculate NPV results based on a variety of scenarios
• Analyse an NPV result using Monte Carlo simulation
• Link the risk analysis back to the business case

Session 3 Option pricing
• Value the options an Investment creates
• Explain why the Black-Scholes method cannot be used on real options
• Explain the concept of Option Pricing
• Describe Binomial option pricing and its relationship to decision tree analysis

Session 4 Putting the pieces together
• Compile the various pieces of an executive summary into a powerful management document
