If an employer has personnel working within 2 meters of any edge or existing roof from which a person may fall more than 2 meters, provision is to be made to prevent falls, appropriate equipment is to be made available and appropriate Working at Heights Training is to be given.
In this Sydney Working at Heights (1Day) Training Course participants will be reviewed in:
• Regulatory requirements
• Risk Assessment & Hierarchy of Controls
• When Fall Prevention is Required
• Alternate Means of Accessing Heights
• Height Safety Equipment
• Safe Anchoring
• Pre & Post Operational Checks
• Equipment Maintenance
• Rescue Requirements/Practical Rescue
At the end of this Working at Heights (1Day) Training Course participants will receive a Statement of Attainment in Units of Competency from Certificate 11 in Public Safety PUA30601 in the following areas:
• All Courses Include All Formal Training, Completion Of Logbooks And Formal And Practical Assessments.
• Work Safely at Heights MNMG237A
• Work Safely on Roofs CPCPCM2015A
• Carry out OHS requirements CPCPCM2003A
The Working at Heights (1Day) Training Course commences at 8:30am at our training centre in Guildford NSW.
• 8:30 - 12:30pm Classroom presentations and intro to height safety equipment.
• 12:30pm - 1pm Lunch break (local purchase).
• 1pm - 4pm All students are required to correctly fit a harness, conduct a heights self rescue and work as a member of a team in an overhead rescue of a suspended victim.
