The first aid course is up to 3 hours long and is taught within the course Apply First Aid (formely known as Senior First Aid.

• Assessing the situation
• Signs of life
• Performing CPR
• Demonstrate use of an Automated External Defibrillator
• Care of the unconscious person
• Special techniques for children and infants
• CPR in special circumstances
• Infection control
• Reporting procedures

participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit of competency from the Health Training Package, HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR

Other Information

After enrollment you will receive a workbook to completed with the aid of a manual. You will also receive a confirmation letter. Once all components have been completed successfully you will be issued with a parchment which shows the qualification you have achieved.
