To get the most out of this course, you should have a solid understanding of relational databases. No particular programming experience is required, but the course is taught from a developer's perspective.

Other Information

"This course can also be completed by the Walk-In Classroom Learning method. The New Horizons Walk-In Learning methodology was developed by industry professionals and certified trainers to provide a method of training that combines the least amount of time away from the office, with the most time dedicated to learning what they need to know.

The Walk-In Learning Approach: When students arrive at a New Horizons Walk-In centre, they are greeted by the mentor (a certified trainer with industry expertise) who will be mentoring and guiding them through their training. They are then assigned their own networked workstation containing two monitors. This environment allows for simultaneous access to the lecture delivered via recorded audio and video, and a live lab environment.

Why Walk-In Learning?

Flexible Scheduling: Flexible course schedules allow the student to determine when they attend training. The training schedule can be built around a work schedule so productivity in the workplace is maintained.

Focus on and learn relevant modules: Not every course is entirety relevant to a student’s needs. The Walk-In classroom allows you to focus on modules which are more relevant to the technology environment you work in and to your specific learning needs.

Time away from the office now reduced to ONE day blocks: Traditional ILT (Instructor Led Training) courses involved IT staff taking five continuous days out of the office to attend the course. This impacted the business and service levels. In the Walk-In classroom you can pick the days of training and create a custom attendance schedule to suit your calendar, projects and convenience."
