This national accredited one day Brisbane Confined Space Entry Course Nationally Accredited Training Course packages from the Skill Set: Confined Space Work Team provides you with the essential knowledge of how to identify a confined space and to assess risks associated with confined space environments.

This Confined Space Entry Course Nationally Accredited Training Course will cover the following subjects:
• How to enter a confined space. • How to safely work in confined space. • How to write and issue work permits. • How to work in accordance with a work permit. • How to supervise work in a confined space. • What documentation is necessary to perform confined space work? • Who is permitted to work in a confined space? • How to identify report and control risk. • Legislation pertaining to working in confined spaces.
At the end of this Confined Space Entry Course Nationally Accredited Training Course participants will be able to:

In addition and at no extra cost participants will also receive a card that fits into most wallets confirming the training undertaken

Confined Space Entry Course Nationally Accredited Training Course REQUIREMENTS & WHAT TO BRING:
The minimum age for assessments is 18 years or over. Photo ID*i.e. Queensland or Interstate Driver's Licence or Passport. The Legislation required the applicant to have basic knowledge and understanding of the English language. Work safety shoes.
More Skills Australia will provide safety helmets, high visibility vest, whistles as well as the general training equipment, notes, logbook and training plans, calculators and pens.
TRAINING FACILITES: All our public courses are conducted at our training facilities in Wacol (Brisbane).
Our training facilities are air-conditioned and fully purpose equipped and our students have direct access to all the necessary plant required for the relevant course i.e. Cranes, EWP, Forklifts and Scaffold.
ON SITE TRAIING & GROUP BOOKINGS:
We offer onsite training as well as group booking options at our training facilities in Wacol. Onsite training and group bookings provide the advantage of being able to choose the course dates as it is suitable for you and your employees.
DIRECTIONS & TRANSPORT:
Tile Street can easily be accessed in either direction from the Wacol / Boundary Road and Wacol/ Formation Street turn-offs on the Logan – Ipswich Freeway. If you are coming via Ipswich Motorway (Centenary Highway) take the Wacol exit and follow Progress Road; turn left into Formation Street and left at the roundabout into Tiles Street.
We are able to arrange a pick up from Wacol train station for students travelling by public transport. Please contact us for further information.

Refunds and cancellations:
The course fee is refunded less an administration fee of $30.00 if a cancellation is received a no later than three (3) working days before the course starts.
Cancellations can be made by email, fax or phone and will be confirmed by More Skills Australia Pty Ltd in an email prior to the commencement of the Confined Space Entry Course Nationally Accredited Training Course.
Confined Space Entry Course Nationally Accredited Training Course participants can be substituted at any time and at no cost before prior to the commencement of the course should the nominated person be unable to attend.
No refund is applicable if the course has commenced and the participant doesn’t attend without cancelling.
In cases of severe hardship or if a medical condition prevents attendance, a refund may be available. For medical conditions a medical certificate stating he/she was unable to attend will be required.
The circumstances of any non-attendance will be reviewed by the Director of Training Services on a case-by-case basis, prior to any refund being granted.
What is a confined space? confined space means an enclosed or partially enclosed space that—
(a) is at atmospheric pressure when anyone is in the space; and (b) is not intended or designed primarily as a workplace; and (c) could have restricted entry to, or exit from, the place; and (d) is, or is likely to be, entered by a person to work; and (e) at any time, contains, or is likely to contain, any of the following (i) an atmosphere that has potentially harmful levels of a contaminant; (ii) an atmosphere that does not have a safe oxygen level; (iii) anything that could cause engulfment.
