About This Training Course

The course is designed for participants wanting to gain recognition or further knowledge of woodchippers, their operation & maintenance requirements.

This unit forms part of the Certificate III in Arboriculture.

Subjects Covered

• Adherence to safety, precautions and instructions.
• Identify and select appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
• Identify risk reduction methods and implement control measures.
• Demonstrate basic operation on the equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance.

Training Course Outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
