This Full Time Combined Endorsement Course, Combined Structured, Optical & Coaxial Cabling Training Course is a five-day course which includes hands on practicals of copper and optical fibre terminations including testing using level 3 test devices, power and light source meters as well as OTDR test equipment.

• ICTCBL3009A Install, terminate and certify structured cabling installation,
• ICTCBL3010A Install and terminate optical fibre cable on customer premises,
• ICTCBL3011A Install and terminate coaxial cable

This Full Time Combined Endorsement Course, Combined Structured, Optical & Coaxial Cabling Training Course is based on Australian Standards AS/ACIF S009:2006,AS/ACIF S008:2006 and AS 3080

Training Course Outcomes

Technicians who successfully complete this Full Time Combined Endorsement Course, Combined Structured, Optical & Coaxial Cabling Training Course will be awarded a nationally recognised statement of attainment for all three endorsements that may be used to contribute to a Cert III in Telecommunications.

Prerequisites

There are no pre-requisites to attend the course but it is recommended that a student has completed an Open Registration before attending the Full Time Combined Endorsement Course, Combined Structured, Optical & Coaxial Cabling Training Course.
