About This Training Course

This 6 ½ hour VETAB & LAB approved Responsible Service of Alcohol Training Course (RSA) is designed to equip participants about to enter the hospitality industry with the skills and knowledge for responsible service of alcohol under VIC State legislation. Anyone who will be serving liquor to the public is required to hold an RSA Certificate under the state law of VIC.

• Indicators of intoxication
• Strategies for preventing intoxication
• Strategies for preventing underage drinking and second party sales
• Ways to develop and implement house policies
• The importance of industry codes of responsible alcohol practices
• Safe transport options
• Alternatives to full strength liquor
• Environmental factors
• How to undertake a self-audit of responsible service practices
• The role of security staff
• The value of using breathalyser devices

Training Course Outcomes

At the end of this Responsible Service of Alcohol Training Course (RSA) students should be able to identify:

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

ALL course transfers incur a $30 administration fee. Edway Training requires a minimum of 24 hours notice for all re-booking and transfer requests. No refund will be given for any course cancelled or re-booked less than 24 hours prior to the start date.

It is in the participants best interest to arrive ten minutes before the scheduled start times as students WILL NOT be permitted to attend a Responsible Service of Alcohol Training Course (RSA) that has already commenced.

These Responsible Service of Alcohol Training Course (RSA) fees are non-refundable.
