This Work Cover recognized Green Card / White card Training Course is a legal requirement for construction workers. However, many people from any trade see the benefit of doing this course just to gain general knowledge about Occupational Health & Safety. The Green Card / White card Training Course can be run in-house and tailored to your organization.
The Green Card / White card Training Course is known as Green Card, White Card and OHS Construction Induction.
At the end of this Green Card / White card Training Course , participants will receive a statement of training on the day, followed by a Work Cover issued, credit card sized qualification.
It is a Work Cover requirement that:
• All persons enrolling in these courses are required to bring along on the training day at least 100 points Evidence of Identity (EOI). This EOI will be checked prior to training commences.
• Persons not meeting these criteria will not be trained.
• Most persons bring a Birth Certificate PLUS Drivers License. Other forms of ID may also be acceptable, e.g. Passport + Drivers License, or Drivers License + Medicare card + Credit card + Utility bill.
• Further details of what EOI is sufficient will be communicated to you on enrolment or on request. Alternatively, you can also enquire with Coastal OHS Services
