Our comprehensive Certificate II in Security Operations Training Course includes an introduction to the private security industry, legal studies, ethical standards, performance management, team work, communication skills, risk management, incident management, reporting, security officer duties and responsibiilites, crowd controller responsibilities, defensive techniques and first aid. This program incorporates a combination of thoery and practice through presentations, group discussions, role plays and self paced learning.

CROWD CONTROLLER (FREE UPGRADE)

On successful completion of this Certificate II in Security Operations Training Course, participants will be provided with a Certificate II in Security Operations (Qualification), Partial Certificate III in Security Operations (Statement of Attainment), First Aid Certificate and may apply to the Office of Fair Training for a Securiy Officer (Unarmed) / Crowd Controller Licence.
Must be 18 years or age or older and have had no criminal convictions in previous 10 years to be eligible for a Security Providers Licence. Note. Driving offences (eg. speeding, drink driving, etc) are not normally disqualifying offences.
The Office of Fair Trading charge $320.50 to apply for a Security Providers Licence and Criminal History Check. This is not included in the course fee. You cannot gain employment as a Security Officer or Crowd Controller until you have received your licence (approx 3 - 4 weeks after application).
