Training Course Outcomes

On successful completion of this Certificate II and III in Security Operations Training Course, participants will be provided with a Certificate II in Security Operations (Qualification), Certificate III in Security Operations (Qualification), First Aid Certificate and may apply to the Office of Fair Training for a Securiy Providers Licence.

Prerequisites

Must be 18 years or age or older and have had no criminal convictions in previous 10 years to be eligible for a Security Providers Licence. Note. Driving offences (eg. speeding, drink driving, etc) are not normally disqualifying offences.

Other Information

The Office of Fair Trading charge $320.50 to apply for a Security Providers Licence and Criminal History Check. This is not included in the Certificate II and III in Security Operations Training Course fee. You cannot gain employment as a Security Officer or Crowd Controller until you have received your licence (approx 3 - 4 weeks after application).
