About This Training Course

This Bodyguard Licensing Training Course has been specifically designed to meet the licensing requirements for a Bodyguard licence in Queensland. The program is conducted primarily as a practical scenario based course with both written and practical assessments.

This Bodyguard Licensing Training Course covers the following subjects:

• CPPSEC3002A Manage conflict through negotiation
• CPPSEC3003A Determine response to security risk situation
• CPPSEC3007A Maintain security of environment
• CPPSEC3018A Provide for the safety of persons at risk

Training Course Outcomes

On completion of this Bodyguard Licensing Training Course graduates will receive a Statement of Attainment listing the above units of competency and may be eligible to apply for a Bodyguard licence and seek employment as a Bodyguard or Close Personal Protection Operative.

Prerequisites

Other Information

On completion of this Security Course , participants will need to apply for a Security Bodyguard Licence through the Queensland Government Department of Justice and Attorney General prior to commencing employment. A one year licence attracts a fee of $278.20 plus a $35.50 criminal history check fee. These fees are payable to DJAG on application. If you already hold a valid QLD Security Providers Licence you will only be required to pay a licence amendment fee (approx $60).
