About This Training Course

This five-day instructor-led Developing Business Process and Integration Solutions Using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 Training Course will provide students with the knowledge and skills to integrate internal and external systems and trading partners and to develop business process integration applications using BizTalk Server 2010.

Subjects Covered

"This course contains a total of nineteen modules. The last four modules are optional, and they may be covered as time permits. Each module contains multiple lessons.
Module 1, Introduction to BizTalk Server 2010, introduces the core features of BizTalk Server 2010 and how messaging and orchestration services work. Also, this module provides a look at what is new in BizTalk Server 2010.
Module 2, Creating Schemas, shows how to create and manage XML and flat-file schemas.
Module 3, Creating Maps, shows how to create maps and use functoids to perform mapping operations.
Module 4, Deploying and Managing BizTalk Application, shows how to deploy applications to the BizTalk Server computers that will host the application.
Module 5, Routing BizTalk Messages, shows how to filter and route messages to BizTalk send ports and orchestrations.
Module 6, Creating Pipelines, shows how to use the Pipeline Designer to create and configure send and receive pipelines.
Module 7, Integrating with Adapters, shows how to configure adapters to integrate BizTalk servers with systems, databases, and applications.
Module 8, Creating a BizTalk Orchestration, shows how to use BizTalk Orchestration Designer to create an orchestration.
Module 9, Automating Business Processes, shows how to use BizTalk Orchestration Shapes to define business processes.
Module 10, Creating Transactional Business Processes, shows how to create orchestrations that include transaction and exception handling capabilities.
Module 11, Integrating Business Rules, shows how to configure business rules and how to call the Business Rule Engine from within an orchestration.
Module 12, Enabling Business Activity Monitoring, shows how to configure and use Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) to monitor business activity.
Module 13, Using WCF Receive Adapters, shows how to configure the WCF receive adapters, and how to publish orchestrations and schemas as web services.

Prerequisites

"Individuals who attend this Developing Business Process and Integration Solutions Using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 Training Course are expected to have the following prerequisite knowledge or experience:
At least two years of experience using Visual Basic, C#, or Java to develop distributed applications
Familiarity with systems integration and Web services terminology and concepts
Familiarity with Visual Studio 2010.
Working knowledge of XML
Prior experience with of BizTalk Server is not required."
