The AutoCAD Intermediate Training Course is designed for the experienced AutoCAD® user who requires additional training in the features & functions of AutoCAD. AutoCAD Intermediate incorporates the commands, techniques and features for becoming more productive when creating, annotating, and printing drawings with AutoCAD. This AutoCAD Intermediate Training Course continues to build on the basic concepts of the AutoCAD Comprehensive Introduction (ACAD-1A / ACAD-1B) course.
Hands-on exercises throughout the CAD training course explore how to create 2D production drawings. The exercises are provided in both a printed format as well as an onscreen format that can be viewed ext to AutoCAD.
This AutoCAD Intermediate Training Course will cover the following subjects:
• Drawing Objects • Manipulating Objects and Data • Template Drawing Creation • Dimensioning and Annotation • Layer Management and Best Practices • Layouts and Views • Reusable Content • Blocks and Attributes • Dynamic Blocks • Plotting • Creating Tables
The primary objectives of this AutoCAD Intermediate Training Course are: • To teach students powerful tools and techniques for drawing, dimensioning, and printing 2D drawings with AutoCAD. • To enable students to reuse content that has been previously created, and extract information from their drawings. • To teach students to grasp the high-level concepts of designing in 3D.
With an understanding of these tools, students can begin to streamline the design process and become more productive with AutoCAD 2008.
This AutoCAD Intermediate Training Course is designed for students experienced in the fundamental features of AutoCAD. It is recommended that students have a working knowledge of:
• Completion of ACAD-1A / 1B course or equivalent working knowledge of the content of either course. • The current or a previous release of AutoCAD. • Creating and editing basic AutoCAD objects. • Microsoft® Windows® XP or Microsoft® Windows® 2000
