Workers and supervisors in OH&S have to deal with health and safety issues in their workplace every day. Knowing how hazards occur and how they can be prevented through effective policies and procedures is critical to ensuring the health and safety of staff and client well-being. A preventative approach to managing occupational health and safety can reduce the risk of possible illness and injury, decreased production through days off work, lessen the potential for compensation payouts and improve overall staff relationships and well-being.
